Avatars of War - Bor Dragonbane

So here is a piece I did for the Wamp forums Avatars of War 2013 contest. I am still experimenting with the metallics and adding color to them. My photo skills still lack, but it gets the idea across I think. Also working with my color wheel to better choose color schemes. I am super happy with the dragon skin cloak. Reaper 02483 Mangu Timur

 So here is a fun mini I did for a mini exchange over at the reaper forums. His name is Mangu Timur. Was practicing using metallics, as I don't care much for NMM.

Holy crap in a hat, Batman. It has been years since I posted anything to my blog. Well I pretty much took a long break from painting to clear out some projects and other nonsense around my house so I can actually enjoy painting again. I have carved my massive collection of minis down to just a few dozen. I am totally stoked. I am currently finishing up working on a unit of Dwarven Egyptian Mummies from the now defunct Valent Studios. I also started an exchange mini for the Winter 2013 exchange on the Reaper forum. My long term goal is to get enlisted on the Reaper paint team. So I will be keeping a running log of what I am doing to try and accomplish that goal.

Warning! The Scurve are coming! The invasion has begun. I have managed to capture a few of the beasts so that they may be studied. They are a parasitic organism that infects the host body. The host then begins to grow a mouth around the entire body. One of the other features are the huge eyes that the host body will develop. The host body is then driven by the need for a constant source of food, and no other motivation.

I recommend keeping them away from other toys due to their highly infectious nature.

Custom buffs getting ready to drop!

Alright! I should be finishing these up this week and hopefully by the 16th i can start shipping the pre-orders. Official drop date should be 23rd of November. Can you feel the excitement. Glee.

eh. sometimes i hate painting.

Well painting is full bore under way for the custom buffs! Hopefully by the end of next week they will be all done. Woo. Releasing hopefully at the end of november. stay tuned.
